Spay/Neuter
One of the best ways to increase our life-saving efforts and reduce overpopulation of unexpected litters and homeless pets is through low-cost, high-volume sterilization efforts.
Located on the Humane Society of North Central Florida’s North campus, Operation PetSnip offers high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services for pets and community cats to anyone, regardless of income or location.
All surgeries require an appointment. We strongly encourage pet owners to establish a relationship with a private veterinarian for the lifetime care of your pet.
Animals must be healthy, at least 8 weeks old and weigh at least 2 pounds. All pets over 12 weeks of age are REQUIRED to be current on the Rabies Vaccine. Vaccine records must be provided or we can provide a Rabies Vaccine at low-cost for your pet, if necessary. If your pet is a senior, please contact us for special preoperative evaluation and instructions. Your pet’s safety is our primary concern. The veterinarian may decline surgery on any animal.
** New appointment availability opens weekly. Please check back each week in order to schedule an appointment. **
