We’re excited that you’re interested in joining our team! To help us maintain a smooth and organized volunteer program, here’s what you need to do:

Please Note

One-Time Volunteer Fee
There is a $30 fee that must be paid at orientation. This fee covers the cost of your volunteer t-shirt, name tag, and program expenses. (One-time group volunteers are not required to pay this fee.)  If you cannot pay this fee due to financial constraints, please reach out to our Volunteer Team at volunteer@humanesocietyncfl.org. 

Court-Ordered Community Service
If you are completing court-ordered community service, please review the details on our Court Order Program HERE.

Junior Volunteers (ages 15 & under)
If you are 15 and under, please review the requirements of our Junior Volunteer Program before starting the application process.

1. Watch the Volunteer Information Video
Get an overview of our volunteer program by watching the video below.

 2. Read the Volunteer Handbook
Familiarize yourself with our policies and expectations by reviewing the Volunteer Handbook. Volunteer Handbook.

 3. Complete the Volunteer Quiz
After watching the video and reading the handbook, take the Volunteer Quiz. Upon completion, you’ll receive a link to the next step. Volunteer Quiz.

 4. Complete the 3-Step Volunteer Application
Once you complete the quiz, you’ll receive a link to fill out the full volunteer application.

 5. Sign Up for Orientation
After completing all the steps, you’ll receive instructions on how to sign up for a Volunteer Orientation session that fits your preferred volunteer position.
