Junior Volunteer Program
We love working with the pet parents of tomorrow!
Please note: all volunteers under 18 years of age must have their parent or legal guardian sign their release form, one of the steps of our application process.
All volunteers under the age of 16 must also have a parent or guardian present and involved at all times whenever volunteering.
Choosing the right volunteer position for you and your child may seem a little overwhelming as not all positions are well suited for young kids. Please feel free to reach out to the Volunteer Department if you would like additional information on which volunteer position will work best for you and your family.
To become a volunteer, both the Junior Volunteer and the parent/guardian must complete the volunteer application separately. Follow the steps listed on the Individual Volunteer information page to complete this process for each volunteer.
If the Junior Volunteer is in need of court ordered community service, please read the information on our Court Ordered Community Service page for further details and instructions.
