Coming Soon: Pack Walk

COMING SOON: Pack Walk

Pack Walk is a new program by the Humane Society of North Central Florida designed for groups, including private groups, student organizations, and corporate teams. We invite these groups to join us in walking our dogs, providing them with exercise and enrichment.

After a brief introduction to dog handling and completing the volunteer sign-up process, each volunteer will be paired with a dog brought to them by our animal care team. Volunteers will walk the dogs along a one-way path on our campus, which includes suggested stops for enrichment activities.

This one-hour activity is perfect as a team-building exercise before or after a workday, providing a fun and rewarding experience while helping our dogs get the exercise they need.

Please note, this activity is for participants ages 18 and up. Volunteers should wear good, closed-toed shoes as the walk will take place over uneven surfaces. Be aware that some of the dogs may be learning to walk on a leash, so patience and understanding are required.
